Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials for various dental procedures Assist dentists chairside during examinations, restorations, extractions, and other treatments with precision and care Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology such as 3D scanners and traditional radiography techniques Manage patient records efficiently using EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Support infection control protocols through aseptic technique and proper sterilization of instruments and equipment Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and managing medical documentation and records Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding is advantageous Hands-on experience with dental assisting procedures such as chairside assisting, taking vital signs, and medical imaging is essential Knowledge of EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft to manage patient records efficiently Understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques in a healthcare environment Certification in X-ray techniques or radiography is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided for the right candidate Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to providing top-quality dental care in a state-of-the-art office!
