Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant / Front Office Floater, where your energy and versatility will shine! In this vital role, youâll provide exceptional chairside assistance during various dental procedures while also managing front office duties to ensure a smooth patient experience. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry settings. Responsibilities Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and ensuring proper aseptic technique to maintain infection control standards. Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, ensuring accuracy and patient safety. Manage patient records within Dentrix, ensuring all medical documentation is complete and compliant with HIPAA regulations. Provide front desk support by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is sterilized appropriately. Qualifications Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting with familiarity in dental assisting and front office responsibilities. Proficiency with Dentrix. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control practices, and aseptic technique to ensure patient privacy and safety. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient comfort. Strong understanding of dental terminology. Understanding of dental claims is a plus!
