Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases. Administer appropriate treatments including dental extractions, fillings, and endodontic procedures. Educate patients on oral health and preventive care practices. Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental. Collaborate with clinical and support team members to ensure high-quality patient care. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and implement best practices in treatment. Foster a welcoming atmosphere for patients to enhance their experience. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Open to 2025 dental school graduates Valid state dental license to practice dentistry in Ohio Quality clinical skills with a willingness to grow, learn, and try new things Excellent communication skills for effective patient and team member interaction Familiarity with Open Dental software is beneficial but not mandatory Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development A team-oriented mindset A naturally happy personality A desire to make each patient's experience "rave worthy" About our Office Hires Dental Care Address: 3951 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623 Hours: M, Tu, Th: 8-6, Tu: 8-5 F: 9-1 Operatories: 10 Patients: we serve all ages, but do not have a high % of pediatric patients Website: https://familydentisttoledo.com/ Office pictures & video tour: https://familydentisttoledo.com/our-office/ A general dentist can make $180,000 to $350,000 with this role. Those willing to do endos, implants, and invisalign will be at the higher end of that range. Compensation is based on a % of collections.
