Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies Assist the dentist during procedures with chairside support, including four-handed dentistry techniques Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation and scheduling Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding practices Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and working with pediatric patients is preferred Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement, medical imaging, and patient assessment confidently Knowledge of infection control standards, HIPAA compliance, and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe environment Previous experience with EMR systems, documentation review, and medical records management is highly desirable Join us to make a difference in patients’ lives through exceptional dental care!
