Duties Provide high-quality general dentistry services, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics Perform complex dental procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret results for accurate diagnosis Document all medical and dental records meticulously in compliance with legal standards and clinic policies Collaborate with specialists in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery as needed Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures Stay current with advancements in dental technology such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix software systems Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment with a focus on general dentistry procedures Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and infection control practices Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques Prior experience performing dental extractions and root canal therapy is preferred Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and effectively Ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal workflow Join us as an Associate General Dentist where your expertise will directly contribute to healthier smiles!
