*ABOVE AVERAGE COMPENSATION* We need a Registered Dental Hygienist to sub at our office during the month of May: Every other Wednesday 8:00 am-2:00 pm Thursday 9:00 am-6:00 pm Friday 7:00 am-2:00 pm Single column patients with a lunch Job Summary We have a beautiful, new office and are looking for a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist (RDH) . Key responsibilities include: Clinical procedures: Scaling and polishing teeth, removing plaque and tartar, taking dental x-rays, applying topical fluoride and sealants Patient assessment: Reviewing medical history, conducting oral cancer screenings, assessing periodontal health Patient education: Teaching proper brushing and flossing techniques, discussing dietary habits and oral hygiene practices Documentation: Recording treatment details, charting findings, and updating patient records Infection control: Maintaining a sterile work environment, following proper sterilization protocols Communication: Collaborating with dentists, discussing treatment plans with patients, addressing concerns Required Qualifications for an RDH: Completion from an accredited dental hygiene program, passing a national licensing exam. Has a current Idaho State RDH license Experience: Previous experience in a dental setting is a plus. Experience with pediatric dentistry is a bonus. Familiarity with Dentrix dental software is helpful. A genuine passion for patient care, with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach.
