Dental Hygienist - Bluff Creek Dental - Edmond, OK

Bluff Creek Dental in west Edmond is looking for a part time Dental Hygienist to join our team! Currently looking for someone to work Thursdays from 7:00 am- 3:00 pm with more days becoming available as we build out another operatory. Any other days worked would be 8:00-5:00. We are a single doctor, general dentistry office that embraces modern technology. Prophy appointments are 1 hour and SRP appointments are usually scheduled at 1.5-2 hours. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply, including new graduates. Compensation is determined by skill and experience. Responsibilities include: Educating patients on proper oral care Identify and treat oral conditions such as gingivitis and periodontitis Take all necessary dental x-rays Oral cancer screening Cleaning and sterilization of instruments Schedule recall appointments Assist in co-diagnosis with the dentist Ensure patient is comfortable throughout appointment and answer any questions they may have Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma Dental Hygiene license Able to work in a team environment Eaglesoft experience is a plus, but not required Anesthesia certification is required, and Nitrous cert is preferred Pay based on experience If you are looking for a positive office where you feel appreciated, we would love to meet you!
