Overview We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a solid understanding of general dentistry practices, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in the dental clinic. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available. Assist accelerated hygiene and help hygienist take xrays, polish and floss Ensure infection control protocols are followed, including sterilization of instruments and maintaining an aseptic technique. Utilize 3D scanning technology for impressions when necessary. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic to optimize efficiency. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. Requirements Knowledge of general dentistry principles, dental terminology, and anatomy is essential. Understanding of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques is required. Proficiency in using 3D scanners is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A valid certification or diploma in Dental Assisting is preferred.
