Dental Assistant - Dr. Bruce B. Wiland D.D.S., M.S.D. - Richmond, IN

We are looking for a motivated and hard working dental assistant to work in our periodontal office to assist Dr. Wiland in our Richmond office on Wednesdays. Job requirements include but are not limited to: -seating and dismissing patients -utilizing our dental software - periodontal charting -taking patient blood pressure - reviewing medical histories - setting up and tearing down the room for the appropriate procedure - reviewing oral hygiene - reviewing take home care instructions - assisting chairside -sterilization of instruments -sterilization of rooms -stocking items used We utilize Dentrix software in the practice. You do not have to have prior experience in the field. We are willing to train the correct candidate! X-ray certification is a plus, but not necessary. There is potential to get your x-ray certification on the job. This position is part time for Wednesdays only , with the potential of a second day based on experience.
