Job Summary part time job: Mondays, Thursdays and 2 Saturday’s a month ( Flexible schedule, open to negotiate days and hour) We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients. This role requires a strong background in general dentistry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Assist in four-handed dentistry by supporting the dentist during procedures. Document patient treatment plans and progress accurately in the dental office systems. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Work with pediatric patients to provide age-appropriate dental care and education. Review documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Experience Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in patient care techniques, including knowledge of four-handed dentistry practices. Familiarity with documentation review processes and dental assisting duties is advantageous. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, enhancing our ability to cater to families. A strong understanding of general dentistry principles and practices is essential for success in this role.
