Monday: Off Tuesday: 8am - 6pm Wednesday: 8am - 5pm Thursday: 7am - 5pm Friday: 7am - 2pm Saturday: Off Sunday: Off Responsibilities: As a Dental Assistant (EDDA or EFDA) you will be responsible for the following (not limited to): Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room. Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient. Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience. Actively monitor lab materials and supplies. Develop a relationship with the patient. Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines. Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed. Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs. Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals. Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team. Qualifications: Expanded Duties Dental Assistant or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification. 1 year of experience or formal training as a EDDA or EFDA. Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
