KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Experience Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and genuine warmth, setting the tone for a positive visit Prepare patients for treatment and routine care, prioritizing comfort, dignity, and safety at every step Contribute to a calm, reassuring clinical atmosphere that reflects our practiceâs commitment to patient-centered care Sterilization & Infection Control Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments with precision, following OSHA, CDC, and office-specific protocols Operate and monitor sterilization equipment; maintain accurate, up-to-date sterilization logs Uphold the highest standards of infection controlâevery time, without exception Operatory Management Set up and organize operatories with the instruments, materials, and technology required for each procedure Perform thorough room turnover between patients, ensuring rooms are spotless, stocked, and procedure-ready Monitor supply levels and proactively communicate restocking needs to maintain seamless clinical flow Clinical Support & Radiography Capture high-quality digital dental radiographs in compliance with safety and protocol standards Assist the dental hygienist with periodontal charting as needed Support the clinical team by anticipating needs and ensuring instruments and materials are always at the ready QUALIFICATIONS Required High school diploma or equivalent Valid dental X-ray license Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational habits Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting A genuine commitment to patient comfort and clinical excellence Preferred Prior experience in a dental or clinical environment Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures Experience with digital radiography or dental practice management software Eagerness to learn and grow within a technology-forward practice WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is based in our modern, fully-equipped dental office. The role involves extended periods of standing and regular handling of dental instruments and clinical equipment. Our practice uses the latest dental technology, and team members are encouraged to stay current with evolving tools and techniques.
