This job does not require enlistment into the Army Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing dental terminology and medical documentation standards. Deliver a wide range of dental services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and dental extractions using aseptic techniques. Conduct oral surgery procedures and utilize advanced dental imaging techniques to diagnose and plan treatments effectively. Apply infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations and maintain sterile environments during procedures. Utilize dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar systems to document patient records accurately and efficiently. Educate patients on oral health best practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term dental health. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care. Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards related to medical records, privacy laws, and safety procedures. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties to provide the highest quality care. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment is required. Demonstrated proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or equivalent practice management systems. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy relevant to oral health, and infection control practices. Prior experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontic procedures, and oral surgery is highly desirable. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is a plus for treating young patients effectively. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly while communicating clearly and compassionately.
