Dental Hygienist - Kite & Key Dentistry - Folsom, PA

Registered Dental Hygienist Kite and Key Dentistry is looking for a hygienist who will use their entire clinical and personal toolkit to make the office more efficient for the doctor and pleasant for our patients. We're growing much faster than expected and need your help! (A paid working interview is required for this role.) We work a 32 clinical hour week, Monday through Thursday with 6 Fridays per year. You’ll ensure all hygiene functions in the office are running smoothly and that you are providing top of the line care. We want our hygienists to do all that they are trained to do- we won't hold you back! You will handle all traditional hygiene duties such as child and adult prophys, SRPs, periodontal maintenance, sealants, fluorides and arestin, as well as helping to tee up treatment for the doctor. Our office is has all the best technology including: Kavo CBCT, Nomad handheld X-ray, Trios 3Shape Digital Scanner, Dexis imaging sensors and software, top of the line ADEC chairs, delivery system and sterilization center, and an entirely paperless office that utilizes texting to interact with our patients. You must be comfortable taking handheld X-rays. We utilize Open Dental as our practice management system. We are looking for someone who wants to have some fun, take care of patients, and help grow the business. Our hours of operation are (including daily set up and potential wrap up time): Monday 9:10 am - 7:00 pm Tuesday 8:10 am - 4:30 pm Wednesday 9:10 am - 7:00 pm Thursday 8:10 am - 4:30 pm We offer a competitive salary, health, vision and dental coverage, up to 8 paid holidays, 401k with match, 2 weeks PTO, a paid week off between Christmas and New Years, scrubs allowance, quarterly bonus and a ton of Dunkin. Responsibilities Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Provide appropriate clinical care to patients of all ages Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Take X-rays using Nomad handheld unit and CBCT/Pan Must be comfortable and competent using all clinical skills under dentist supervision Skills At least 1 year as a state licensed RDH is desirable, but not required.
