Overview We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and honest Dental Assistant/receptionist (floater) to join our team. Our practice is well-established and we are looking for a motivated team member. Duties Assist the dentists chair side. Taking digital x-rays and scans. Set up and breakdown treatment rooms efficiently while maintaining excellent infection control Sterilization of dental instruments Help with closing out for the day Assist with answering phone calls, scheduling, treatment planning, insurance verification, and collecting payment. Qualifications (preferred) Dental Assisting and/or front receptionist experience is preferred Proficiency in taking X-rays Familiarity with HIPAA regulations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work as a team. Proficiency with communicating with the patient in a professional manner both in person and over the phone.
