**Job Summary:** We are looking for a part time skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Smiles 4 Kids in Boise ! The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and perform necessary administrative tasks. **Qualifications:** High school diploma or GED required Completion of a dental assistant program is a plus X-ray certification preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Responsibilities:** Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures Sterilize dental instruments Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare Take and develop dental x-rays Maintain accurate patient records Schedule patient appointments in an efficient and timely manner
