Looking for someone Mondays & Thursdays Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to ensure optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Follow strict infection control procedures, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of instruments, to ensure patient safety. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license with current state certification. Proven experience in dental office settings Proficiency in dental terminology, medical coding, and documentation review for accurate recordkeeping. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations.
