In this position, you will be needed for giving our patients high-quality dental care while making sure the dental office runs smoothly and effectively. Strong knowledge of dental procedures and outstanding communication abilities are characteristics of the perfect candidate. Responsibilities Help the dentist with a variety of procedures while making sure the patient is comfortable and safe. Maintain and prepare dental tools and equipment for exams and procedures. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Manage patient records, including medical history and treatment documentation, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including sterilization of instruments. Skills Proficiency in four-handed dentistry to effectively support the dentist throughout procedures. The ability to assist with basic patient assessments and take vital signs. Strong knowledge of medical documentation procedures to guarantee correct documentation. Attention to detail in upholding HIPAA regulations when keeping medical records.
