Job Summary We are a pediatric dental office dedicated to providing exceptional dental care for children in a welcoming, friendly, and fun environment. Our goal is to make every visit a positive experience for both our young patients and their families. We are looking for a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Job Overview: As a Pediatric Dental Hygienist, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality preventive dental care and creating a positive experience for every patient. This position requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to working with children and families. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric dentistry, a friendly and upbeat personality, and a commitment to excellent patient care. This is a part-time position (1 day per week; Fridays preferred but flexible) with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role. Key Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and preventive treatments for pediatric patients Place sealants and apply Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) Take and process digital X-rays Complete charting and documentation using Dentrix Conduct oral hygiene instruction for patients and parents in a child-friendly manner Provide a positive, calm, and supportive experience for children of all ages, including those with special needs Work collaboratively with the dentist and clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow Maintain clinical cleanliness, organization, and infection control standards Support a fun, welcoming, and family-friendly office environment Qualifications: Active Dental Hygienist license in Michigan Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred Experience working with children is highly preferred Friendly, positive, and patient-focused personality Comfortable working with children of all ages and special needs patients Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dentrix experience is highly preferred Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Pay: $39.00 - $49.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
