Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Chicago, IL
Weâre looking for a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing periodontal specialty practice in downtown Chicago. Our office focuses on advanced periodontal and implant care, providing patients with a calm, modern, and personalized experience. About the Role As a key member of our clinical team, youâll assist during periodontal and implant procedures, support patient care, and help maintain a smooth daily flow. Weâre looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and eager to learn the details of specialty care. Responsibilities Assist the periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans (training provided if needed) Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients Support daily office setup, cleanup, and inventory management Qualifications Dental Assistant certification (CDA or equivalent) preferred Prior experience in a periodontal or surgical dental setting is a plus Excellent communication skills and a professional chairside manner Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies Ability to work efficiently in a small, team-oriented environment Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Ability to Commute: Chicago, IL 60602 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Chicago, IL 60602: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
