Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the dental environment. Assist in the management of medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants in four-handed dentistry procedures. Maintain knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental assisting practices to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene and best practices within the field. Experience Previous experience in a dental office or clinic is preferred. Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance is essential. Knowledge of anatomy, patient care techniques, and dental terminology is highly desirable. Experience with four-handed dentistry is a plus, enhancing efficiency during procedures.
