Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly dental team. We are a PRIVATELY OWNED OFFICE serving the downriver community for over 30 years! Our office is focused on providing excellent dental care for all our patients. SIGN ON BONUS! 1 hour per adult prophys, 45 minutes per child and 75 minutes for new patients! Dental Hygienist Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures to remove plaque and tartar. Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans based on patient assessments. Dental Hygienist Requirements Valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice. Proficiency in using dental software (Dentrix preferred). Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices.
