Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical history review Diagnose dental issues using clinical expertise and medical imaging techniques Carry out various treatments such as dental cleanings, restorations, root canal therapy, extractions, and prosthodontics procedures Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient care efficiency Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies Skills Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for record management and scheduling Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery is highly desirable Skilled in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, and prosthodontics Ability to interpret medical imaging and apply infection control standards effectively Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to pediatric and adult patients alike Familiarity with dental fabrication processes and medical documentation standards Join us as we strive to provide outstanding dental care that transforms smiles!
