Dental Assistant/ EDDA - Boulder Periodontics - Boulder, CO

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Periodontic Dental Assistant to join our Periodontic specialty practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside board-certified periodontists in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment focused on advanced surgical care and dental implant therapy. What You’ll Do: Assist the periodontist during surgical procedures including implants, extractions, grafting, and soft tissue procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with OSHA and infection control protocols Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans as needed Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Provide post-operative instructions and patient education Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation Support team flow and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment What We’re Looking For: Previous dental assisting experience required; periodontal or surgical experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Excellent communication and patient care skills Radiology certification (required per state regulations) CPR/BLS certification preferred Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) is a plus Why Join Us: Work with highly trained, board-certified specialists and overall AWESOME team State-of-the-art technology and modern office environment Supportive, team-oriented culture Opportunities for growth and continued learning If you’re passionate about surgical dentistry and providing exceptional patient care, we’d love to hear from you!
