In this vital role, you will assist Dr. Espinosa during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional dental services across a broad spectrum of treatments, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery and endodontics. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for procedures Assist dentist chairside during various treatments by handing instruments, managing suction, and providing support with dental materials Take dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners while maintaining strict infection control protocols Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform vital signs assessment and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions in a clear, friendly manner Maintain a sterile environment through aseptic techniques and proper infection control procedures in accordance with OSHA standards Support administrative tasks . Collaborate with the team on four-handed dentistry techniques to increase efficiency during procedures . Experience Prior experience working in a dental office setting is required. Familiarity with general dentistry & oral surgery procedures is essential Proven proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure patient privacy and data security Hands-on experience with dental X-ray technology, including digital imaging and 3D scanners Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and dental assisting best practices Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining excellent patient rapport in dentistry .
