SJ Family Dental in Freeport, New York is looking for a part-time dental hygienist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that thrives in a fast paced office. In exchange, we provide a relaxed environment, minimal oversight, and clinical autonomy. The candidate must posses excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to promote adjunct therapies to our patients. We perform Scaling and Root Planning procedures and encourage our patients to treat their periodontal pockets with Atridox. Dental Hygiene candidates must have a New York State license and be certified in infiltration local anesthesia. The candidate should be comfortable performing chair side whitenings, gingival antimicrobial irrigation and promote home care with our professional Crest products. We are willing to train and support a motivated candidate. The days available are Mondays 9AM- 6:30PM, Tuesdays 9AM-6:30PM, Wednesdays 9AM-5PM, Thursdays 9AM-6:30PM, Fridays 9AM-3PM and Saturdays 8AM-2PM. New graduates are welcome.
