Overview Todd Barsky DDS is an upscale, boutique-style dental practice located in the heart of South Miami. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care in a warm, welcoming environment where both patients and team members feel valued. We are seeking a Primary Chairside Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Directly assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring optimal patient comfort and procedural efficiency. Provide outstanding customer service and compassionate care to all patients, fostering a positive and reassuring experience. Maintain a sterile and organized treatment environment by adhering to strict infection control protocols. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established guidelines. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary materials and instruments are ready for each procedure. Accurately document patient information and assist with charting as needed. Support the overall efficiency of the dental practice by anticipating the needs of the dentist and patients. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety at all times. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Dental Assistant training program or relevant experience in a dental office. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments. Current certification in CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Excellent hygiene practices and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment. Ability to work the following schedule: Mondays – Thursdays: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break) Fridays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (as needed) Preferred Skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first mindset. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Experience with dental software and digital charting systems. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
