Our team values professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude. We will train the right candidate We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will support the dentist during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations. Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix or Epic, ensuring all medical documentation is complete and up-to-date. Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining proper aseptic techniques to prevent infection. Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout treatment sessions to ensure a positive experience. Support the dental reception area by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow efficiently. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, or prosthodontics. Proficiency with dental software Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral structures. Experience with medical imaging tools including X-ray machines and 3D scanners to assist in accurate diagnostics. Ability to perform dental assisting duties confidently while demonstrating excellent communication skills with patients of all ages.
