Position Summary The Dental Assistant supports the dentist, clinical and administrative team by preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, maintaining infection control standards, and helping ensure an excellent patient experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a wide range of general dentistry procedures Conducting patient intake, check-in, and check-out Reviewing patient medications and health history documentation Scheduling and managing patient appointments and follow-upsy Providing exceptional customer service on phone and email Scanning documents, managing patient records, and sending reports Detailed communication with doctors, patients, and referring offices to ensure smooth care coordination Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper setup and breakdown Take digital dental radiographs Perform proper instrument sterilization and infection control per OSHA and CDC guidelines Chart clinical notes accurately and timely Chart review and chart prep procedures Assist with impressions, temporary restorations, and patient education as directed Maintain inventory and restock clinical supplies Ensure patient comfort and provide chairside support throughout visits Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members Qualifications Dental Assisting experience preferred (new graduates considered, if applicable) Current radiology certification Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and clinical workflows Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and patientâcare skills Ability to multitask in a fastâpaced clinical environment CPR/BLS certification Preferred Skills Experience with digital charting, proper chart documentation Knowledge of fourâhanded dentistry Experience with impressions, temporaries, and basic lab procedures Familiarity with infection control audits and sterilization logs Why Youâll Love Working Here: Specialized Expertise : Become an integral part of a unique specialty clinic that truly changes lives, every single day.
