Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices. This role involves working closely with patients to promote oral health, assist in various dental procedures, and ensure a clean and safe environment in the dental office. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Take and record medical histories, vital signs, and any relevant patient information. Stay updated on current best practices in dental hygiene and participate in continuing education opportunities. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred. Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and general dentistry practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health. Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
