Job Overview Our office is looking for a Hygienist. Our Hygienist of 30 year is retiring. We are hopeing to replace her with another great hygienist with a passion for helping people. Schedule can be customized as needed. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take dental x-ray including PANs. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe environment for all. Requirements Valid Dental Hygiene license with current state licensure in good standing. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and record keeping.
