Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as proficiency in using dental software systems. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy. Conduct documentation review to ensure accurate patient records. Utilize Eaglesoft and Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping. Assess patients’ oral health by reviewing medical history and vital signs. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in medical imaging procedures as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the treatment area. Experience Previous experience in a dental hygienist role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and systems is essential. Experience in dental assisting is a plus. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care are required. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
