Responsibilities Clinical Excellence Assist the doctor using efficient fourâhanded dentistry Prepare operatories for restorative, surgical, and hygiene procedures Anticipate clinical needs to maintain smooth appointment flow Assist with procedures including restorative restorations, smile makeovers, extractions, implants, grafting, temporary restorations, radiographs, aligners, impressions/scans Patient Experience Welcome and prepare patients for treatment Create a calm, professional, and supportive environment for patients Provide clear postâoperative instructions and patient education Clinical Support Take digital radiographs and intraoral images Assist with temporaries, impressions, and lab cases Maintain accurate treatment notes and patient documentation Sterilization & Compliance Maintain strict infection control protocols Ensure proper instrument sterilization and OSHA compliance Keep operatories clean, organized, and prepared Team Contribution Maintain clinical supplies and inventory Support team efficiency and daily workflow Contribute to a positive, professional culture Required Qualifications 1â3+ years of dental assisting experience Dental Assistant certification as required in South Carolina Radiology certification CPR certification Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols Ability to confidently assist with fourâhanded dentistry Preferred Qualifications Experience with digital dentistry and modern technology Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Experience assisting with comprehensive restorative dentistry Strong understanding of clinical workflow and appointment efficiency The Ideal Candidate Takes pride in delivering excellent patient care Organized, proactive, and detailâoriented Anticipates the doctorâs needs and supports efficient treatment flow Thrives in a teamâoriented, highâperformance environment Excited about helping build a growing practice from the ground up Benefits Competitive compensation Paid time off Paid holidays Continuing education opportunities Supportive team environment Modern technology and systems Join the Founding Team Evelina Smiles is building a practice known for exceptional dentistry, strong systems, and a positive team culture.
