Dental Assistant - Dr. Arghami Periodontist - Baton Rouge, LA

**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience and strong knowledge of dental clinic operations. Having experience and knowledge in the oral surgery and implants is a big plus. **Responsibilities:** - Assist the chairside during a variety of surgical procedures - Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment, disinfection and sterilization - Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and dental impressions when prescribed by the dentist - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health - Perform various office tasks as necessary **Skills:** - Knowledge of oral surgery/periodontics is a plus - Experience with office management dental software - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Ability to assist with chairside procedures efficiently - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations in a dental setting - Positive attitude is necessary and will be evaluated - Ability to be present at work for the required hours - Computer skills - Being comfortable taking calls and talking to patients over the phone Join our team and contribute to providing exceptional dental care to our patients.
