In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, assessments, and education. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, and adhering infection control protocols. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining proper radiation safety standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and managing medical records securely. Skills Proficiency in dental software systems. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical coding practices. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and professionally. Skilled in chairside assisting techniques specific to general dentistry and pediatrics.
