Job Summary DTX Dental Studio is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Coordinator to join our growing team in Lake Highlands, Dallas. We are a private practice with a small team aiming to become a modern, patient-focused dental office committed to providing exceptional care and a welcoming experience for every patient. This role is the first impression of our practice and is ideal for someone who enojoys helping people and staying organized. Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and helping keep the daily schedule running smoothly. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage all front desk activities with enthusiasm and professionalism Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing Maintain accurate patient records by reviewing documentation and updating electronic health records (EHR) systems Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and appointment requests Manage medical collections and billing processes Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and care plan documentation to ensure seamless patient care coordination Skills Proven experience in dental office administration or medical front desk support with strong clinic experience Proficiency in Dentrix Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/10 coding, CPT coding, and medical billing practices Ability to review documentation accurately and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing proficiency (10 key typing) Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and office management capabilities Experience with insurance verification processes and medical administrative support functions Familiarity with dental terminology and clinic workflows to enhance operational efficiency Ability to handle multi-tasking responsibilities such as filing, data entry, appointment scheduling, and medical records management Join our team as a Dental Front Office Coordinator where your energy meets purpose!
