The Associate Dentist diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth and gums, as well as related oral structures. Treats diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting the vitality of teeth, as well as oversees the operations of the practice by performing essential functions and general duties. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with Baltimore Medical System Core Values, policies/ procedures, and applicable civil laws. Is accountable for the efficient use of resources and support of the BMS mission. Education: DDS or DMD Successful completion of an accredited dental school/program Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations: Active Maryland Dental license, in good standing with the MSBDE Active DEA license Current BLS/CPR Certification Experience: Successful Completion of an accredited dental school/program. Experience seeing pediatric patients is strongly preferred.
