Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. Responsibilities - Perform chairside assisting duties during dental procedures - Take and record patients' vital signs - Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment - Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar systems - Take dental X-rays as directed by the dentist - Provide post-operative instructions to patients - Assist with various dental procedures including prosthodontics and general dentistry - Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Experience The successful candidate should possess: - Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures - Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and systems - Experience with X-Ray imaging and processing - Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Dental assisting: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Required) Ability to Commute: Dedham, MA 02026 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Dedham, MA 02026: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
