Dental Assistant Lubbock, TX Full-Time Job Description We are a growing dental practice in Lubbock seeking a reliable, motivated Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-centered environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during all kinds of procedures Prepare and turn over treatment rooms Take digital dental X-rays in compliance with Texas regulations Sterilize and maintain instruments according to infection control standards Review medical histories and ensure patient comfort Provide patient education before and after treatment Chart detailed clinical notes accurately in the dental software Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Communicate clearly with doctors, patients and team members Qualifications Dental Assistant experience preferred by not required Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain New Graduate Consideration While prior dental assisting experience is preferred, we are open to hiring a new graduate if they demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and are the right fit for our team and practice culture. Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience with digital X-rays and intraoral scanners Familiarity with Eaglesoft Schedule M onday Through Thursday 7:45 - 5:00.
