Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and care. Utilize dental fabrication techniques and aseptic procedures to ensure optimal outcomes during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice standards. Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term wellness. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow through four-handed dentistry techniques. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to uphold safety standards within the clinic. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other practice management software. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a General Dentist with appropriate credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office environment. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical documentation, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and infection control practices. Familiarity with dental imaging systems and medical imaging interpretation. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Dentrix is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
