Job Overview Richardson General and Cosmetic Dentistry is seeking experienced, fast-paced (Medicaid) General Dentists to join our extremely busy, high-volume, fully digital practice . This opportunity is best suited for dentists who can diagnose, treatment plan, and perform efficiently across multiple operatories simultaneously while delivering high-quality patient care. This Medicaid role requires strong clinical confidence, excellent efficiency, and the ability to work with a high degree of professional independence in a production-driven environment. This position is not suitable for new graduates or slow-paced providers. Schedule Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, alternate Sundays Hours: 9:00 AM â 5:00 PM Practice Environment & Technology 15 fully equipped operatories Paperless office with iPads for patient check-in and treatment planning Advanced technology - software & hardware CBCT / CT scanner Digital and portable Nomad X-rays iTero scanner Electric chairs and electric hand-pieces Software systems include Open Dental, Flex, and Overjet MEDICAID General Dentist - Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care: Perform oral exams, review x-rays, fillings, extractions, crowns, and emergency dental treatments, particularly under Medicaid guidelines. Preventative Focus: Emphasize preventive procedures (sealants, cleanings) as required by Texas Health Steps for Medicaid clients aged 20 and younger. Compliance: Adhere to Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) requirements, Texas State Board of Dental Examiners rules, and document treatment accurately. Patient Education: Instruct patients and caregivers on oral health maintenance. Documentation: Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) of services for billing and compliance. Compensation: $850 guaranteed per full day worked OR 30% of collections (whichever is greater) Compensation is based on days worked and production High patient volume provides strong earning potential Qualifications & Requirements: Active Texas dental license in good standing Proven experience in a high-volume private practice or DSO environment Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment Comfortable managing multiple operatories simultaneously Strong knowledge of infection control, dental terminology, and clinical protocols Comfortable with digital workflows and modern dental technology Responsible for maintaining licensure, continuing education, and applicable taxes Ideal Candidate: Experienced, efficient, and production-oriented Confident in diagnosis and treatment planning Professional, patient-focused, and team-oriented Thrives in a fast-paced, high-demand clinical environment How to Apply: Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply with a current resume and a brief summary of clinical experience.
