Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Layton, UT
Duties: Provide professional chairside assistance to the provider during dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures Take digital dental x-rays Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Use professional dental terminology and understand the anatomy of the mouth. Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records Perform dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary and permanent crowns Experience: Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, but not required Knowledge of Dentrix electronic health record system is a plus This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
