Overview Part time Associate 2-3 days per week - potentially full time eventually. Owner dentist nearing exit in about five years - possible ownership opportunity. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options effectively to patients and team members Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Operate dental equipment such as digital X-ray machines for medical imaging while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort Manage dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, and other prosthetic devices as needed Ensure all medical records are accurately updated and maintained in accordance with regulatory standards Apply knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, and dental terminology to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatments Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current licensing in good standing Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or similar setting; prior dental office experience is highly preferred Proficiency with practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is essential for efficient workflow management Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, including working with pediatric patients (pediatrics) and performing pediatric-specific procedures Expertise in procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics Familiarity with infection control standards, sterilization techniques, and HIPAA compliance regulations Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages Ability to work efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient care Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health conditions Join us if you’re passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while advancing your skills in a supportive environment.
