Dental Hygienist - Progressive Periodontics and Dental Implants of West Bend - Plymouth, WI

Have you ever wanted to work with two dental specialists, who perform high-quality dental care? Do you want to take your hygiene skills to the next level and learn from a Periodontist? If you answered yes to either of these questions, we have a great opportunity for you!!! Our office is a fun, family-oriented dental practice with two dental specialists (Prosthodontist and Periodontist). We need a new member of our dental hygiene team due to a recent retirement. We use Patterson Eaglesoft software and will train you to use the system. We take digital x-rays, have an in-house panorex, and have access to a CBCT at a sister facility in West Bend WI. Cavitron ultrasonic and X-ray Units in each room. Candidates must be willing to learn Eaglesoft software, take quality x-rays, have strong clinical skills with an attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Performing oral screenings and verify medical and dental history Perform periodontal cleanings and/or prophylaxis Educate patients on oral hygiene/at-home care Take quality x-rays Maintain documentation in the patient’s electronic chart Sterilize and disinfect instruments and room Deliver compassionate care to patients Administer local anesthesia (preferred, not necessary) Certified to administer Nitrous Oxide (preferred, not necessary) Perform Periodontal Scaling and Root Planing (preferred, not necessary) Requirements State of Wisconsin Hygiene License (RDH) or recent graduate waiting for their license to come Experience preferred Current CPR certificate (BLSC) required PAY - NEGOTIABLE, we work on a sliding scale and are a specialty office Job Type: Part-time Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
