Registered Dental Hygienist (Temporary with Potential for Permanent Role) We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a temporary basis beginning in September to cover a maternity leave, with additional opportunities to fill in during team member vacations. This position has the potential to grow into a more permanent role for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance Take and review dental radiographs Perform thorough periodontal assessments and charting Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and preventative care Assist the dentist in identifying treatment needs and co-diagnosing when appropriate Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols Qualifications: Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Wisconsin CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently while providing excellent patient care Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset What We’re Looking For: Someone who is reliable, flexible, and comfortable stepping into a supportive team environment A hygienist who values patient relationships and education Willingness to adapt to a schedule that may vary based on coverage needs Schedule: Coverage needed starting in September for maternity leave Additional fill-in days available for vacations and schedule gaps Potential for expanded or permanent hours in the future About Us: We are a patient-focused dental practice committed to delivering high-quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
