Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Assist the dentist chairside during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as permitted by state regulations
- Prepare and organize dental materials, instruments, and equipment
- Record treatment notes and update patient charts accurately
- Assist with scheduling and confirming appointments when needed
- Provide patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions
- Greet and escort patients professionally
- Communicate clearly with doctors, hygienists, and front office staff
