Responsibilities: Assist patients during exams and procedures. Greet patients by name and assist them in scheduling appointments. Prepare materials needed for procedures. Prepare patients for procedures, such as applying anesthetic gels or cleaning teeth. Prepare offices before and after hours of operation. Be friendly to patients and their families while they wait for the dentist. Perform various administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, answering the phone, conveying messages, and filing records.
