Full Time Dental Assistant Needed: Tuesday to Saturday - Latus Group - Manhasset, NY

Job Overview Friendly and organized Specialist office is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team! Available working schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, (we can be flexible with the days,) and typically 9am to 5 pm. This role involves supporting dentist during patient procedures, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures, such as: implants, crowns, extractions, root canals and fillings. Must be able to take digital xrays well. Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures including prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry. Clean and reset treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials in a timely and efficient manner. Take digital xrays, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and explain dental terminology clearly to ensure understanding. Skills Must have experience, preferable at least 2 years. Team player who takes pride and ownership in their job. Strong dental knowledge of dental instruments and burs. Kind and friendly chairside manner.
