Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while supporting our dental professionals in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including endodontics and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and maintain the dental clinic environment, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use. Take and record vital signs, medical documentation, and patient histories accurately. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient records using dental software such as Epic, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly documented. Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans. Provide support in general dentistry tasks, including taking X-rays and impressions as needed. Skills Proficient in dental terminology and medical documentation practices. Knowledge of endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and general dentistry procedures. Ability to take vital signs accurately and understand their significance in patient care. Familiarity with Epic or similar dental management software is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
