Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories. Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software. Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides as needed. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and patient care protocols. Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus. Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
